Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated 27 August 2026
This policy applies to everything hosted on or sent through Yanyy infrastructure. It exists to keep every client's site fast, secure and reachable.
1. Prohibited content
No unlawful material, malware, phishing pages, fraudulent or deceptive content, content infringing intellectual property, or material that is defamatory, harassing or sexually exploitative.
2. Prohibited activity
No unsolicited bulk email, port scanning, denial-of-service activity, unauthorised access attempts, cryptocurrency mining, open proxies or public file-dump services.
3. Resource use
Shared hosting resources are finite. Sites that consistently consume disproportionate CPU, memory, storage, inodes or bandwidth may be asked to move to a larger plan or dedicated resources.
4. Security responsibilities
You are responsible for keeping your own credentials secure and for any third-party code you install. Compromised sites may be suspended immediately to protect other clients, with notice given as soon as practical.
5. Backups
Backups are provided as a courtesy on managed plans. You remain responsible for keeping your own copy of any business-critical data.
6. Enforcement
Breaches may result in content removal, suspension or termination. Where the breach is minor and fixable, you will be contacted first and given a reasonable chance to resolve it.
7. Reporting abuse
Report suspected abuse to hello@yanyy.uk with the domain and details. Reports are investigated promptly.
